I plan on using the device for both car and foot navigation--oftentimes in the same session--so smoothness of transition will be a huge plus. I was impressed with the Holux M1000 with the 32 channel and MTK chipset. I figure if you can track 32 sat. then you've got to be prety accurate. However, I read somewhere that the SiRF star III chipset may be better for walking... (maybe the Navibe GB735)My primary use would be with a golf course...
