1. Turn on the GPS receiver
2. Turn on the Bluetooth radio on your Samsung Phone
3. Follow the instruction here with the exception: http://www.buygpsnow.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=3038
• Exception 1: You will not see Serial Port Protocol instead you will see Active Sync profile. Please DO NOT SELECT "ActiveSync"
4. Start | Settings | System Tab | External GPS icon | tap on Access tab | Uncheck "Manage GPS automatically (recommended)".

Specific GPS Setup Instruction for:

1) Google Maps for Mobile: In Google Maps, under Track location Settings, set it to 'Set Manually', COM8, 4800. When I select Track Location. Give it 30 secs to 2 mins, it should zeroes in on your location.

2) Microsoft Live Search: Set GPS COM8, under settings. When you selecte 'Center on GPS', you no longer got an error and it should find your location shortly.
