In response to Amazon Feedback:
1 out of 5: "FRAUD! Shipped defective item. Charged 60% respocking fee upon return. Fraud!!!"
Date: 8/13/2007 Rated by Buyer: -- name removed--
Customer received this product on 7/14/2007. He did not complain about any issue with this item and just indicated he wish to return the product after 3 weeks. So, we then gone ahead and approve his return request.
A week later, we received his return product. The product has been totaly bent out of shape and the antenna case / receiver box were cracked opened (see picture below).
This indicates the product has not been used properly and shows sign of abuse. We ONLY charge 15% for restocking fee for any opened items, but this returned product is worthless to us.
In this case, we were nice to give some sort of refund to the customer.
Most of the time, customers will admit they damanged a product and are up front with all details when requesting for return request except this customer from Amazon.
He/she not only lie but also attempted to hide the truth. Hence, this prompted us to write an article to tell the true story. If you are the Amazon customer, we welcome you to response here.
