Thanks for your email.
1) Correct.
2) Correct but you may free up up to 1GB or more space on the OCN6 pre-program 2GB card by removing maps you do not need, please see FAQs 11 on this link below on how to do it: http://www.oncoursenavigator.com/forum/default.aspx?f=10&m=5314
3) Correct but I think you made a typo in your post. OCN6 Premium ver has 12.5 millions of POIs.
4) Incorrect, OCN6 3D / 2D view is actually better and updates more smoother than iGuidance 3/4.
5) Incorrect. OCN6 shows you Distance left before reaching destination, Time left, and ETA time. See review here for screen capture: http://discussion.buygpsnow.com/forums/thread/4243.aspx These 3 info are user configurable and you could change any of these to something you prefer like replacing "ETA time" with "Speed", etc.
iGuidance, you have to tap on the bottom of the screen to toggel in btw the 3 pcs of info above and yes, you see only one info at a time.
6) I would said they are about the same but iGuidance allows you to enter Street first follow by City vs. OCN6 always needs you to select a city / zip code first follow by Street name. Both methods will get you to the same result/goal.
7) Correct.
8) Correct, but weather report is support in all compatible devices as long as you could / have a connection to the Internet.
NOTE: OCN6 pro's vs. iGuidance 4:
1) OCN6 allows you to search for a given POI right from the top POI category. But for iGuidance 4, you must know ahead of time which category of POI to search for. For example, if someone tell you to meet at "Restaurant ABC" without telling you the address and the kind of restaurant it is categorized under and you must search each sub categories of restaurant such as Italian, Chinese, Indian, etc before you could locate that POI.
2) Optimize all waypoints/ stopovers vs. iGuidance 4 which does not support this feature. Good for any multiple stop activities, such as delivery job, sales job, soccer mom and dads trying to stop my a few pickup or drop off locations.
3) Faster and smoother map scrolling than iGuidance 4.
3) OCN6 calculates route equally fast with major software in the market such as iGuidance 4 and TomTom 6.
4) OCN6 offers 30-day zero risk return policy for full refund. If you do not like it, you can pack it and send it back for a refund vs. no-return on all other software.
5) OCN6 supports the addition of customs POI and iGuidance do not allow this. For example, if you came across a nice restaurant that just opened up and it is not listed in the built-in POI, you could simply stand outside of the restaurant and mark the current GPS position to add that position to your customs POI list, and give them a Restaurant / Food icon.
If there is anything I missed out or not covered, please feel free to ask. It's Monday and we have a lot of activities here...Sorry.
