    Setting up Bluetooth GPS with Motorola Q

    Step 1: Download the latest firmware from Motorola Q website (free). Here is the link to download the latest firmware for your Motorola Q

    Before beginning, make sure the Bluetooth GPS receiver is on, and near a window with a clear view of the sky.

    1.       Click on the red hang up button on the Q-Phone.

    2.       Click on the Start menu option.

    3.       Scroll down and highlight the Bluetooth folder, and then click the chrome silver button in the middle of the selector control.

    4.       Turn Bluetooth on in the Status: combination box.

    5.       Click Done.

    6.       Click Settings.

    7.       Click Menu.

    8.       Click Paired Devices.

    9.       Click Add.

    10.   It will now begin searching for devices.

    11.   Select your GPS receiver from the list.

    12.   Click Select.

    13.   Enter the passkey for your GPS receiver. The passkey for most GPS receivers is '0000'. If this is not your passkey, enter the one that is in the documentation for your GPS receiver.

    14.   Click Done.

    15.   Click the left arrow (Back) button to the left of the red hang up button.

    16.   Click Done twice.

    1) Download GPSCOM.zip from: Download now from XDA developer (must be a registered member to download this file)

    2) Unzip and copy to your Mobile Device.

    3) Reboot your Smartphone. Then, use File Explorer from your Smartphone to locate this file, tap on it once to run it. Select COM 1

    4) Leave the Bluetooth GPS receiver outside to have a clear sky view, wait for 1 to 2 minutes.

    5) Launch Google Maps and select Track GPS Location.
