    I'm scheduled to receive my new GLOBALSAT BT-338 from buygpsnow.com tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2, 2005.

    My question: Will the unit have WAAS "enabled" out of the box or will I be required to "enable" WAAS myself ?

    Yes, the unit you received has the WAAS Enabled out of the box.
