    Destinator 6 Question

    Hi buygpsnow,

     

    I am wondering if you can answer a quick question. On Destinator 6, what maps are they using, as in what year? Are they 2006 maps? or 2007? or maybe even 2008?

    http://www.destinatortechnologies.net/us/products/index.html since Destinator 7 is the state of the art, I'd guess 6 is two years old.......

    Destinator 6 uses 2006 maps from NAVTEQ.

    Destinator 7 is only available for PND (Personal Navigation Devices) and Destinator does not plan to introduce a PDA version. Hence, they will not be a version 7 for PDA. This info was received from one of Destinator's sales representatives and it is true as of writing.

    Please consider alternative solutions such as:

    Garmin Mobile XT

    iGuidance 4

    OnCourse Navigator 6 (version 8 coming soon)

    TomTom Navigator 6
