    unknown device processor type

Hi, i'm having real problems getting the maps to install onto a T800. Have Mio Map, have tried connecting with active sync on XP, as well as Windows Mobile Device Centre on windows Vista. Always get stumped at the same point, once i've installed the Mio Map Console software onto the PC i go to either download a map onto the device or install the software onto the device, always with the error message "Unknown device processor type. 2336or OS(3420)".

It's driving me mad, i don't know what else to do. I can extract the maps manually onto the memory card, but i can't find any way to get the software to install on the device, which is running Windows CE .NET version 4.2.

Please please help! i'm going round in circles!

Have changed a line in the default.ini file and now it has installed. But still doesn't work. Does the map software have to be activated before it will work? I now either get 'configuration file is not exist' when loading through PND, or 'cannot find 'miomap.exe' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available'.

I am not familiar with T800.

I think, the problem is you are trying to load a Mio Map which is written for PDA onto a device running an incompatible OS, which is WinCE.NET. Mio Map that you have may be written to work only on WM2003/WM5 / WM6 OS and will not work on WinCE.NET.

I suggest you contact Mio for tech support or to obtain the correct loader based on your OS.
