I have successfully bonded my gps with my laptop and i know its working because the small, generic program that came with my gps unit is working and giving my position just fine.
As the setup states, In streets and trips, i click on the configure gps button and it brings me to a window that scans the ports on my computer. It successfully finds my gps unit, however when i try to start tracking, i get this error,
"A connection cannot be made to the GPS reciever using the specified port. Make sure another program is not using that port and try again."
I 99% positive that another program is not using that port and the port that its attempting to use is the port it found my gps on.
Is there someting i'm missing?
