Idea [I] How To: Pair a Bluetooth GPS Receiver with a BlackBerry phone.

    Here are the steps:

    1) Turn on the Bluetooth radio on your BlackBerry. Go to the Device Options, tap on Bluetooth, tap on the Berry Button (with 7 dots inside of it), and finally tap on Enable Bluetooth.

    2) Now, turn on your Bluetooth GPS receiver

    3) On the BlackBerry:

    a) Tap on Options, then Bluetooth, Add Device,

    b) Wait for a few seconds for your phone to discover any Bluetooth devices in your nearby vicinity.

    c) Select the Bluetooth GPS device name you want to pair with and enter the passkey / pin, which is normally 0000 (4 zeros)

    d) Finally, the device name you have selected will appear on the list of paired devices.

    e) Now, you would just launch the GPS application and either manually configure the GPS Receiver type or let it detects the GPS settings automatically (most software have this capability already)

    Hope this helps.
