    Need help setting up Holux M1000 on compaq laptop

    Have no clue as to what I am doing.... I need help in setup the device to work with my laptop... I thought it was like microsoft gps with streets and maps but I just have no clue... I can't figure out the software tried every thing to install it but to no avail PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    and exactly what software are you trying to install and what issues are you having?

    Please provide the exact error message if any.

    I don't have it....

    the problem is I can not get my laptop to see the m1000 or any of the mapping programs I have.... I have a compaq rm666av....
