Here are the steps:
1) During the installation of Microsoft Pocket ST 2006, you will need to select "Pocket ST 2006" otherwise only the PC version installed. Then when you next sync up your PDA with your PC, Pocket ST 2006 will be installed automatically to your device.
2) Copy maps. Make sure your device is connected to your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync, launch ST on your PC, use your mouse to highlight an area of your choice and select Tools | Export Maps for Pocket Streets. Follow the instruction to complete the map building process.
3) Once done, copy the map file, usually ending with ".mps" extension to your memory card.
4) Go to your PDA, use File Explorer to locate the file that you just copied over and tap on it once to launch the Pocket Street and Trips. This will open up the map automatically.
5) If you have not pair up your Bluetooth GPS yet, please do so by following the instruction here:
http://www.buygpsnow.com/files/Bluetooth_UserManual.docVer1.01.pdf
NOTE: For devices running WM5, please see this pairing instruction instead: http://www.buygpsnow.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=3038
6) Once done, tap on Menu | GPS | Configure Receiver | tap on one of the COM Ports, most likely COM 8 or your Outgoing COM Port configured for WM5. Tap on the OK on the upper right hand corner to accept the setting.
7) Then, tap on Menu | GPS | Start.
If COM 8 does not work, re-select another com port. If it works, you should see a circle with an arrow inside of it that indicates your real-time position on the map.
You should be all set. If you are stuck, please let us know which steps are problematic.
