This program will only work with selected MTK based GPS receivers such as Globaltop G33, G66 and it is used to configure the baud rate.

For example, you may use this program to change the baud rate to 1 hz from 5hz (five updates per second) as 5 hz update may confuse some GPS software in the market or cause the GPS program to freeze up.

Instruction to change baud rate:

1) Download & Unzip the program

2) Launch the program by double clicking on GpsView.exe

3) On Status tab, please select the correct COM Port and select On button. You should leave the baud rate at 115200.

4) Once connected, you will see a bunch of GPS data scrolling up the screen.

5) Click on Setup tab, and scroll down to 1hz from the Fix Update Rate section and click on Set button to save the setting.
